Do you have a passion for those living with disabilities? Tanzania Host Volunteer (THV) exciting Special Needs Care projects in Tanzania wishing to a make a difference in the lives of those who are often overlooked.
Whether it be working with the physically disabled, the mentally challenged, or those with learning difficulties and impairments to sight or hearing, we have a project that will not only suit your interests, but will provide you with an opportunity to make a real and lasting contribution.
While these highly rewarding projects do not require participants to have a background in the field of special needs care, as there are many ways you can assist, volunteers with suitable education, qualifications or experience are highly sought after. Regardless, a volunteer’s individual role can often be tailored to suit their particular skills and interests.

- Help out in a special need and disables environment as you improve your skills.
- Work with a great team of staff who are skilled to support you during your project.
- Enjoy trying out Tanzania and Africa cuisine, with meals and beverages.
- Explore Tanzania National parks, Game reserves, Tradition and Culture, Mountains, Lakes, Water falls, restaurants and Hotels.
- Volunteer must be over 18 years of age at the beginning of the program
- Volunteer must speak English
- Volunteer must represent a recent criminal background check THV
- Volunteer must have adequate travel insurance
