About Us
Founded in 2020 by Getrude kimaro and other member Ally mkulemba and zubery mhando, Tanzania Host Volunteer (THV) organization registered under the non-governmental organizations act no. 24 of 2002, Tanzania. We partner with local, regional, and international organizations around the world to support social and economic empowerment in Arusha’s communities.
Working together to invest in the lives of women, the disabled, orphaned children, youth adolescents, and marginalized groups by innovatively building the healthy environments they need to empower them and thrive.
THV offers a wide range of volunteer projects and tourism opportunities in efforts to make your volunteer experience unforgettable. Each volunteer project within this organization is need driven and designed with the goal of giving back to vulnerable communities here in Arusha. Our team consists of hard-working dedicated individuals who work vigorously to ensure each volunteer has a positive experience.
